Writing and music are useful places to explore AI because the questions quickly become personal. We can read or hear an output, compare it with our intentions, and ask what it means to have made it. We can also see how an individual creative opportunity becomes an industry-wide challenge.

This section begins with an early essay about storytelling and human expression, then follows those questions into songwriting and the music business. Treat its predictions as arguments to investigate. What can a tool generate? What do people value? Who benefits, and what evidence would change your mind?
